Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Automation & Logistics Leader to steer daily warehousing operations and spearhead modernization. You will drive automation, RFID/barcode scanning, and ERP/WMS integration to raise throughput and stock accuracy.

You will manage MHE, storage layouts, inbound/outbound flows, and lead a supervisory team, applying lean principles and KPI targets to achieve continuous improvement in a fast-paced, technology-driven facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in warehousing, supply chain, logistics or related field.
• CPIM, CSCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven track record in warehouse automation, robotics, and storage design.
• Experience with WMS, ERP, POPiS and RFID/barcode scanning.
• Knowledge of MHE management, transportation, distribution, and lean principles.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Transform the facility into a smart automated hub by evaluating and integrating robotics and optimized storage systems.
• Manage integrated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, and POPiS to streamline inventory tracking and reporting.
• Oversee deployment of RFID tagging and barcode scanning technologies for real-time stock visibility.
• Optimize inbound/outbound logistics, storage layouts and distribution workflows.
• Lead warehouse operations, mentor supervisory teams, set KPI benchmarks, and apply lean principles.

About the Job

In this role, you will lead daily warehousing operations and spearhead the strategic modernisation and automation of the facility. You will drive operational efficiency by implementing advanced robotics, modern RFID/barcode scanning technologies, and integrated ERP/WMS systems.

• Warehouse Modernization: Spearhead initiatives to transform the existing facility into a smart, automated operational hub by evaluating and integrating robotics and optimized storage systems.
• Systems Integration: Manage integrated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and POPiS software to streamline inventory tracking, fulfillment, and reporting.
• Auto-ID Operations: Oversee the deployment and continuous improvement of RFID tagging and barcode scanning technologies to ensure real-time stock visibility.
• Material Handling & Logistics: Manage material handling equipment (MHE), storage layouts, inbound/outbound logistics, and distribution workflows to optimize throughput.
• Team Leadership & Process Excellence: Direct warehouse operations, mentor supervisory teams, establish KPI benchmarks, and enforce lean supply chain principles.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Warehousing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Professional Certificate in Warehouse Management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification).
• Proven track record in warehouse automation, robotics, and storage systems design.
• Strong practical experience with WMS, ERP systems, POPiS, and Auto-ID technologies (RFID/Barcode scanning).
• Deep knowledge of MHE management, transportation, distribution, and lean supply chain principles.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
