Job summary

Tashin Steel Sdn Bhd invites internship students with a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in the designated field to join and support growth. The program targets individuals who can commit to 3–6 months and contribute with independence, good interpersonal skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Applicants should have strong responsibility, be able to multitask, and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage for this role.

Tashin Holdings Berhad (THB) Reg No.: 201701028709 (1242878-H), was incorporated in Malaysia on 14 August 2017 under the Act as a public limited company under our present name. THB is principally an investment holding company with subsidiary companies mainly engaged in the steel related sector encompassing both manufacturing and trading activities.

Our Group is principally involved in the following activities:

(i) Processing (ie, slitting and shearing) of steel coils into slit coils and steel sheets;

(ii) Manufacturing of steel products comprising, steel pipes, flat bars, square bars, expanded metals, checkered plates and C Purlins; and

(iii) Trading of steel products including steel plates, steel pipes, round bars, angle bars and wire mesh.

TSSB started operation in October 1999. Beginning as a trading company for slit coils, steel pipes and steel plates etc, TSSB then expanded its operation to processing of steel mother coils into slit coils and sheets, manufacturing of steel flat bars, square bars, expanded metals, roofing sheets, cold rolled precision profiles, C&Z purlins etc.

TSSB’s steel products are widely utilized and applied in various industries such as automotive, furniture, electronics and electrical, construction and engineering fabrication. Within these range of products, there are detail variations and specifications such as width, thickness, material type and hardness, which we are able to manufacture to meet our clienteles’ requirement.

THSB started the manufacturing activities for Flat and Square Bars, Checkered Plates in Jan 2013 to meet customers’ increasing demands.

Tashin Group has steadily progressed, grew and expecting to continue expanding its business in the near future.
