Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence or certification as required by local regulations in Sarawak.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling duties.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is advantageous.
• Previous experience in cargo and packing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack and store goods within the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading cargo from vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring goods are stored in designated locations according to warehouse management systems.
• Conducting pre-operation inspections of forklifts and reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations, company policies and warehouse procedures at all times.
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean, organised and free from hazards.
• Assisting with the organisation and rotation of stock to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Collaborating with warehouse team members and supervisors to meet operational targets and deadlines.
• Following proper documentation procedures for goods received, dispatched and stored.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Warehouse Forklift Driver to join the team at Asialink Cargo & Packing Agency Sdn Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Sibu, Sarawak. As a Warehouse Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in our warehousing and distribution operations, ensuring the efficient movement, storage and handling of goods. Your responsibilities will directly impact our operational efficiency, safety standards and customer satisfaction, making this a vital position within our logistics and supply chain network.

What You'll Be Doing

Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack and store goods within the warehouse

Loading and unloading cargo from vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage

Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring goods are stored in designated locations according to warehouse management systems

What We're Looking For
