Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics in Malaysia seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing and dispatch. You will lead a team, coach staff, ensure safety, and maintain accuracy to meet SLAs.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor's in Logistics, SCM, Business Admin or related field with at least 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role, plus strong knowledge of

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
• Experience with 3PL logistics environment and Lean initiatives is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Supervise warehouse personnel by assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, providing coaching, and ensuring compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and timely investigation of inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure SLAs are achieved while resolving operational issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing warehouse performance, preparing operational reports, and implementing process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
