Job summary

Vallen Asia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Chemor, Malaysia to support daily warehouse operations. You will receive and inspect goods, process ERP transactions, organize stock, and prepare items for delivery while maintaining safety and tidiness across stock areas.

The role requires a valid GDL Class E driving license, forklift or scissor lift certificates, and basic computer skills. You will work under a team, maintaining accuracy and world-class service at customer sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive, check quantity & quality and sort incoming parts and supplies.
• Perform goods receipt and transactions out in the ERP system.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.
• Process incoming requisitions and issue parts and supplies for delivery.
• Maintain records of orders and stock locations.
• Inspect returned goods and notify relevant internal departments.
• Keep stock areas clean and safe for picking activities.
• Assist daily warehouse operations using ERP features (GR release, location creation, stock transfer).
• Participate in weekly cycle counts and annual stock-take.

Job description

Ensure daily delivery is accurate and timely.

Check and ensure that all deliveries are in good condition with correct items and quantity.

Upon delivery, file the proof of delivery (POD) to respective share folder.

Accurately top up items into vending machines at customer sites.

Maintain good housekeeping of the storage and company vehicles.

Ensure world class customer service is achieved.

Warehouse Assistant

Receive, check quantity & quality and sort incoming parts and supplies.

Perform goods receive and transaction out in the system.

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse.

Receive and process incoming requisitions and issue parts and supplies for delivery.

Maintain records of orders and the amount and location of parts and supplies.

Examine, segregate returned goods and notify relevant internal departments.

Ensure all stock areas are kept clear & tidy for ease of picking and in line with safety requirements.

To assist in warehouse daily operation, warehouse administration task using ERP system such as GR, Release GR, Creation location, Location transfer stock, Check location, Adjustment stock, Issuing of stock card, and etc.

Participate in regular weekly cycle count, yearlystock-take exercises and perform ad-hoc warehousing duties when required.

Logistics Tasks

Liaise with forwarder, confirm delivery terms with supplier and provide invoice and packing list to the forwarder.

Support in preparation of shipping/freight-forwarding documentation such as AWB, shipping label and etc.

Communication with transporter of logistic matter including import and export documentation.

Liaise with warehouse/logistic team at Penang.

Ensure compliance with the Company’s operations policies and procedures.
