Job summary

ALTEK MEDICAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to ensure daily and monthly inventory records are updated accurately and to maintain the safety and security of all inventories stored in the warehouse.

You will actively participate in daily/weekly/monthly stock counts, monitor shelf-life expiration, and ensure FIFO practices are in place while supporting annual stock counts and reporting procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is required.
• Prior exposure to SMT warehouse operations is a plus.
• Must be able to operate computer systems and WMS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily/monthly inventory records are updated accurately.
• Maintain safety and security of all inventories in the warehouse.
• Participate in daily/weekly/monthly stock counts.
• Monitor shelf-life expiration and escalate for review if needed.
• Ensure proper FIFO practice is followed.
• Support annual stock counts.
• Adhere to warehouse SOPs and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Prepare and file required reports.

Responsible to the safety and security of all inventories stored in the warehouse.

Actively participate in the daily/weekly/monthly stock count activity.

Monitor the product shelf-life expiration and call for management review if any.

To ensure effective FIFO practice is in place.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety standard at all times.

To ensure that all reporting and filing are properly carried out.

Adhere to and comply with warehouse Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Requirements:

Minimum SPM/SKM with minimum 3 years of working experience and,

Able to operate computer and WMS

Candidates must have at least one (1) yearof warehouse experience.

Experience in SMT warehouse operationswill be considered a significant advantage.
