Job summary

Secret Recipe Cakes and Café Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is looking for entry-level staff to welcome and serve customers at the Summit USJ outlet. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply and you should have at least SPM.

You will handle order taking, maintain cleanliness, and cooperate with the team to provide friendly service while learning standard operating procedures and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates welcome to apply.
• Minimum qualification of SPM or above.
• Willing to work at Summit USJ outlet.
• Responsible, hardworking and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers, take orders, and practise suggestive selling.
• Prepare mise-en-place and manage glassware to minimise breakages.
• Work with Supervisor to ensure SOP compliance.
• Follow service procedures to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Assist in achieving sales targets and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain front-end equipment in good condition and report issues.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Responsibility

• Meet and greet customers, and attend to their orders and requests promptly while practising suggestive selling and complimentary closing.
• Prepare daily mise-en-place and help manage glassware and crockery to minimise breakages and losses.
• Work closely with the Supervisor and team to ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure the QSC exercise is completed within the required period and corrective actions are completed by the deadline.
• Follow service procedures to maintain customer satisfaction and support smooth outlet operations.
• Assist the Supervisor in achieving sales targets and maintaining zero tolerance for variances and pilferage.
• Ensure front-end equipment is maintained in good working condition and complies with safety standards.
• Provide feedback on operational issues and follow up until corrective actions are completed.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels, product mix, and product quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
