Job summary

Secret Recipe Cakes and Café Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is hiring for a front-of-house role. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; minimum qualification SPM or above; candidates must be willing to work at the Bukit Jelutong outlet and be responsible, hardworking, and eager to learn.

You will greet customers, take orders, support sales targets, ensure SOPs, manage mise-en-place, and cooperate with the supervisor to maintain service quality.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers, and attend to their orders and requests promptly while practising suggestive selling and complimentary closing.
• Prepare daily mise-en-place and help manage glassware and crockery to minimise breakages and losses.
• Work closely with the Supervisor and team to ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure the QSC exercise is completed within the required period and corrective actions are completed by the deadline.
• Follow service procedures to maintain customer satisfaction and support smooth outlet operations.
• Assist the Supervisor in achieving sales targets and maintaining zero tolerance for variances and pilferage.
• Ensure front-end equipment is maintained in good working condition and complies with safety standards.
• Provide feedback on operational issues and follow up until corrective actions are completed.
• Assist in monitoring stock levels, product mix, and product quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
