Job summary

ON Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Hardware MS professional to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair probe card hardware, production equipment and related peripherals to ensure stable system performance and minimal downtime.

The role focuses on supporting daily operations by maintaining the reliability of testing platforms in a cleanroom environment, with shift-based responsibilities and ongoing improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have SPM or equivalent certificate and related engineering background.
• Prior experience with preventive maintenance in manufacturing is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for manufacturing and maintenance on shift basis.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine tasks on equipment.
• Carry out basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on wafer manufacturing gear.
• Perform daily 5S and maintain cleanroom safety standards.
• Adhere to safety rules in a cleanroom environment.
• Support ad-hoc activities directed by supervisor or shift leader.
• Suggest ideas or participate in equipment continuous improvement projects.
