6255 UOB Innovation Hub 2 Sdn Bhd is seeking a Vulnerability Assessment Engineer to deliver and enhance vulnerability management services across the bank's technology estate in Malaysia. You will reduce attack surfaces, coordinate advisories, and work with Threat Intelligence to improve controls.

The role requires 5–7 years in security with hands-on experience in vulnerability management tools, scripting, and cloud/container technologies.

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science/IT/Cyber Security from a recognized institution.
Professional security qualifications (e.g., SANS, CISSP, CISA, CISM) are favourable.
Overall experience 5–7 years.
3–5 years managing and deploying Vulnerability Management services.
Knowledge of Vulnerability Management technologies and industry best practices.
Experience with Windows/Linux/Unix networks and cloud tech (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
Hands-on with Splunk, scripting (Python, Bash), security testing tools and vulnerability scanners.

Responsibilities

Deliver vulnerability management services and operate the bank's security suite.
Manage attack surface reduction and vulnerability lifecycle monitoring.
Communicate advisories to application and infra teams; coordinate with Threat Intelligence.
Provide mitigations where fixes are not available and support audits/regulatory requests.
Develop automation, create data sets, reports and dashboards for risk visibility.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for vulnerabilities management projects.
