Job summary

Technocracy Group in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Vulnerability Management Specialist with 3-5 years of experience to manage attack surface reduction and coordinate remediation with IT teams. You will implement automated tooling, produce dashboards, and work with security operations and threat intelligence to ensure timely advisories and effective mitigations.

A strong foundation in Windows/Linux, cloud tech, and vulnerability scanning tools is essential, plus communication across internal

Qualifications

Diploma/Degree in engineering/Computer Science/IT/Cyber Security from a recognized education institution.
Professional security related qualification (e.g., SANS, CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.) favorable but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Manage attack surface reduction and vulnerability lifecycle across the tech estate.
Communicate and report product vulnerability advisories to relevant teams.
Advise on mitigating controls when fixes are not yet available.
Coordinate vulnerability response with Security Operations Centre.
Develop automation to improve processes, dashboards, and risk insights.
Define requirements and evaluate products for new initiatives.
Support audit and regulatory requests related to vulnerability management.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver vulnerability services.
Prioritize work in a fast-paced operational environment.
Guide countermeasures during attack surface reduction activities.
