Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering, computer science, IT or cyber security.
• Cyber security product certifications favorable but not mandatory.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience with cyber security technologies.
• At least 2 years in a SOC environment.
• Good knowledge of network security and protocols.
• Experience with SQL databases, SOAP-XML and RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily health checks on cybersecurity applications.
• Troubleshoot issues to ensure security apps run smoothly.
• Respond to incidents involving cyber defense tools.
• Document steps, solutions, and changes for reference.
• Assist in patching and updates of cyber defense applications.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for application support and troubleshooting.
• Create basic dashboards, alerts and reports in Splunk to improve visibility.
• Manage access control for cyber defense applications and perform routine tuning.
• Support disaster recovery exercises for cybersecurity tools.
