Job summary

IKEA Malaysia is seeking a skilled Visual Merchandiser to enhance in-store presentation and drive business results. You will plan and execute range layouts that are affordable, attractive, and aligned with brand standards across our Malaysia stores.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of visual merchandising experience in retail, strong English communication, and a passion for home furnishings, with ability to translate trends into store-ready visuals.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as Visual Merchandiser in fast-paced retail.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Passionate about home furnishing and range presentation planning.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen IKEA's uniqueness through visual merchandising solutions.
• Contribute to department action plans for growth and profitability.
• Plan and implement affordable, commercial range presentations.
• Minimize disruption and ensure shop floor safety.
• Work with the Com&In team and understand financial impact of actions.
• Maintain high quality, simple, efficient, cost-conscious planning.
• Gather insights on store layout and translate into solutions.
• Stay updated on home furnishing trends to inspire visitors.
