Job summary

IKEA Malaysia is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to strengthen its uniqueness through compelling store visuals and commercially focused range presentations.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing and improving range presentation while ensuring safety and cost-conscious practices on the shop floor. Proficiency in English and a design-based background are required for this fast-paced retail role.

Qualifications

• Local Malaysian
• 2 or 3 years of working experience as Visual Merchandiser in commercial and fast-paced retail industry with a design-based education.
• Good command of English (verbal and written).
• Passionate about home furnishing with able to do planning, implementation and improvement of range presentation.
• Computer proficiency i.e. Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), AutoCad.

• Contribute to gathering insights about store layout and range presentation, translating this knowledge into relevant solutions.
• Stay up to date with trends in home furnishing, retailing and create creative directions that inspire visitors.
