Job summary

FMG, the BASICKIN sub-brand, is seeking a Visual Merchandiser at Pavilion Mall, Bukit Jalil to drive compelling store visuals and product presentation. You will manage displays, floor sets, and merchandising plans in line with brand guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and 2–3 years in retail visual merchandising, with strong fashion sense, trend awareness, and teamwork skills. Rotating shifts and early mornings may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Visual Merchandising within the retail industry.
• Fashion or fast-fashion retail experience highly preferred.
• Strong fashion sense with knowledge of current trends, styling, and customer shopping behaviour.
• Good understanding of visual merchandising principles, planograms, and space planning.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and commercially aware.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, public holidays, and early mornings when required.

Responsibilities

• Visual merchandising: execute window displays, in-store visuals, and mannequin styling per standards.
• Implement floor sets, product layouts, and merchandising plans per guidelines.
• Ensure displays are attractive, commercial, and aligned with current fashion trends.
• Maintain store presentation, signage, lighting and cleanliness.
• Product & Commercial Management: monitor sell-through, adjust displays to maximise sales; highlight promotions; ensure replenishment; support inventory accuracy.
• Brand Standards: maintain consistency with BASICKIN brand and campaigns; ensure cross-area consistency; adapt visuals to priorities and launches.
• Team Collaboration: work with Store Manager and sales team; coach associates; support store setup and events.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: monitor display effectiveness and customer behavior; provide feedback and reports; recommend improvements.
