Melium Group seeks a dedicated Visual Merchandiser to monitor and implement visual merchandising strategies across its luxury fashion stores. You will craft mood boards with VM colleagues, coordinate seasonal windows, and work with brand managers on product placement and campaign visuals.
The role involves developing concepts for seasonal displays, managing VM props, and ensuring alignment with group guidelines.
To constantly monitor the Group’s competitors are doing visually and to conduct store locations visits and experiencing their floor layout through the eyes of the customer.
Conducts store visit to help staff rearrange their store to the latest visual standards and requirements.
To create visual and mood board with VM team members to present to Head of Marketing, Brand Manager, Group General Manager and the President of the Group.
To work closely with principals on seasonal as well as ad-hoc VM display/ window.
To develop the merchandising strategies of the physical inventory of the stores.
To develop ideas and concept for seasonal visual merchandising campaign for Melium fashion, F&B.
To preplan and manage all VM activities and to meet the timeline given by principal. Prepare budget and get it approve by the Group General Manager.
To work closely with brand manager and Head of Marketing on monthly product placement and push.
To closely monitor and manage all Melium fashion window display.
To manage and administer “Signage” which is a key part of the visual merchandising process.
To work closely with the graphic team to create marketing materials that are most likely to influence customer behaviour & oversee installations of VM props / collaterals.
To create and develop ideas, concept for tactical VM display in line with the festive season: CNY, Raya and Christmas.
To coordinate with brand manager on best possible display for the season/ad-hoc.
To update Group General Manager on weekly review on shop window.
To work closely and inform shop on all VM activities and coordinate landlord approval and permits.
Responsible for all props in the property and warehouses and to recycle VM props whenever possible or permitted to achieve cost savings.
To develop collaterals in various forms of media for the group both online and offline based on board guidelines and direction of the Head of Visual Merchandiser.
Sourcing of suppliers with best prices for the collaterals needed and managing of budgets.
To improve, maintain the overall ambience for each café including space management and furniture arrangement.
To work closely with marketing on case-by-case basis on marketing campaign.
To work closely with management for café VM add on and changes.
Developing visual merchandising strategies based on season, current promotions, and inventory in stock.
Communicating and collaborating effectively with operations team to make sure all stores have enough inventory to maintain the company’s visual standards.
Innovation in creating signage for visual merchandising campaigns.
Strategic in designing and implementing training programs to teach employees how to keep merchandise at company visual standards.
Have a real creative flair and eye for style, have worked with the fashion retail environment and be fully aware of the trends, seasonal looks and the end consumer for the fashion brand.
Minimum: Diploma in Multimedia I Graphic Design or equivalent with a minimum of 1 years working experience in a creative/digital related field.
Graphic Design Skills: Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite; Illustrator, Photoshop or Advanced knowledge in Canva
Fresh Graduates with intermediate/advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop) or Canva are encouraged to apply.
