Job summary

Aleph invites Visual Design Interns to join our Creative Team in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment. You will collaborate with engineers and product managers, shape UI/UX strategies, and contribute across wireframes, visuals, and prototypes.

The role emphasizes growth, mentorship, and hands-on experience in a supportive culture. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this 3-month paid internship offers exposure to cutting-edge tech and a pathway to a possible full-time position, with access to Aleph

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of basic software development principles and development methodology.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements.
• Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Explore design approaches to solve user problems.
• Produce high quality UX designs through wireframes, visuals, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language across the product.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to identify gaps and improvements.

We are looking for Visual Design Interns to join and support the Creative Team. We are looking for people who are curious, open, eager to learn and to eventually grow with us. Based on your performance, there is potential for a full time position in the future as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers to gather user requirements.
• Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Explore various design approaches to solve specific user problems.
• Learn to produce high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Explore design innovations to ensure that the product is in accordance with cutting-edge technology.
• Create a cohesive style guide to ensure consistent design language is followed across the product.
• Conduct user research.
• Improve the development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Optimises UI designs and tests for intuitiveness and user-centeredness.
• Conduct usability testing to identify gaps in design and see if they can be further improved.

Prerequisites:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Understanding of basic software development principles and development methodology.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to learn and grow in the field of software development.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• To be able to participate actively in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
• Have a passion for emerging technology, especially in the areas of mobile apps and social media.
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
