Job summary

QES GROUP OF COMPANIES is seeking a Vision Software Engineer in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. The role focuses on setting up, commissioning, and optimizing machine vision systems for automation and inspection applications.

You will develop vision solutions, integrate hardware and software, and support testing and troubleshooting to ensure project success. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering and at least 3 years in machine vision, with hands-on experience in

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Electronic/Mechatronic or related field
Minimum 3 years in machine vision or industrial automation
Experience with vision hardware (cameras, lenses, lighting) and vision software
Knowledge of hardware/software integration for vision systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Support setup, installation, and commissioning of machine vision systems.
Develop and implement machine vision inspection solutions.
Configure and optimize vision software tools.
Integrate vision systems with PLCs, motion systems, and automation equipment.
Provide on-site and remote customer support during installation and commissioning.
Prepare technical documentation and test reports.
