We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer and Editor to join BEAUGATES CONCEPT SDN. BHD. in Puchong, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in bringing our creative vision to life through compelling visual storytelling. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality video content and crafting polished, engaging final products that resonate with our audience. This role is essential to our marketing and creative strategy, contributing significantly to how we communicate our brand message across various platforms.

Key responsibilities

Capture high-quality video content using professional cameras and equipment for various projects, including promotional videos, commercials, social media content and corporate productions

Plan and execute video shoots, managing technical aspects such as lighting, sound, camera angles and composition to ensure optimal visual quality

Conduct pre-production planning, including shot lists, storyboarding and location scouting to support efficient and effective filming

Edit and post-produce video content using industry-standard software, including colour grading, audio mixing, visual effects and motion graphics

Collaborate with creative directors, producers and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver content that aligns with creative briefs and brand guidelines

Manage media files, ensure proper backup and organisation of footage and project files throughout the production workflow

Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and editing to continuously improve production quality and efficiency

Meet project deadlines whilst maintaining the highest standards of creative excellence and technical proficiency

What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your technical skills and creative vision

Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar industry-standard tools

Solid understanding of videography principles, including composition, lighting, audio recording and cinematography techniques

Proficiency with professional video cameras and associated equipment such as stabilisers, tripods, microphones and lighting rigs

Strong creative eye and ability to develop unique visual narratives that capture audience attention

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a creative team and take direction constructively

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail and meeting strict deadlines

Knowledge of various video formats and platforms, including understanding of optimal specifications for social media, broadcast and web delivery

Preferred experience in the advertising, marketing or media industry, or working on commercial and promotional content
