TGFX Agency is seeking a talented Videographer & Editor to join our creative team in Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to bring visual stories to life through compelling video content. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video material that resonates with audiences and drives engagement across various platforms. This position is integral to our creative output and plays a crucial role in delivering our clients' visions with excellence and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, shoot, and capture high-quality video footage using professional equipment and cinematographic techniques
• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging video content tailored to project specifications and client requirements
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and clients to understand project objectives and deliver content that exceeds expectations
• Colour grade, add visual effects, and implement motion graphics to enhance video quality and visual appeal
• Manage video assets, maintain organised project files, and ensure efficient workflow throughout the production process
• Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and emerging technologies in video production and editing
• Deliver final video products in appropriate formats for various platforms including social media, broadcast, web, and streaming services
• Participate in pre-production planning, storyboarding, and concept development sessions
• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimise video content for different devices and viewing environments

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a videographer and/or video editor with a portfolio demonstrating your creative capabilities and technical proficiency
• Proficiency in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong working knowledge of videography techniques, composition, lighting, and audio fundamentals
• Experience with multi-camera shooting and working with professional video equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment
• Understanding of colour theory, visual storytelling, and narrative structure
• Experience with motion graphics, animation software, or visual effects is advantageous
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and delivery specifications for various platforms
• Ability to work independently whilst taking direction and feedback constructively
• A creative mindset with passion for visual storytelling and continuous learning
