Job summary

Selkirk Sport seeks a Videographer to own the end-to-end video production process, from on-site filming to full post-production edits for social content, long-form series, podcasts, documentaries, and brand campaigns.

You will maintain high cinematography standards, manage complex editing workflows, and ensure visuals align with Selkirk's brand objectives across multi-format outputs and events.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional videography and video editing experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Technical expertise in cinematography, lighting, audio, and camera operation.
• Ability to manage the full production pipeline independently.
• Ability to travel consistently for shoots, tournaments, and events.

Responsibilities

• Film high-quality footage for product videos, athlete features, commercials, and Selkirk TV programming.
• Operate professional camera systems, lighting, audio gear, gimbals, and production accessories.
• Execute shot lists and creative direction provided by department leadership.
• Capture dynamic gameplay and interviews in fast-moving tournament and studio environments.
• Own the full editing process for short-form and long-form content.
• Manage editing for podcasts, including multi-camera syncing, audio cleanup, and titling.
• Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and narrative structure refinement.
• Incorporate motion graphics and branded elements into final deliverables.
• Export and optimize final assets for diverse digital and broadcast platforms.
• Maintain organized project files, timelines, and archival systems.

About the role

The Videographer is responsible for the end-to-end production of Selkirk Sport video content, encompassing both on-site filming and full post-production editing. The role involves capturing and delivering polished assets across multiple formats, including social media content, long-form series, podcasts, documentaries, and brand commercials. Key functions include maintaining high cinematography standards, executing complex editing workflows, and ensuring visual storytelling aligns with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Video Capture & Production

• Film high-quality footage for product videos, athlete features, commercials, and Selkirk TV programming.
• Operate professional camera systems, lighting, audio gear, gimbals, and production accessories.
• Execute shot lists and creative direction provided by department leadership.
• Capture dynamic gameplay and interviews in fast-moving tournament and studio environments.

Post-Production & Editing

• Own the full editing process for short-form (Reels, TikTok) and long-form content.
• Manage editing for podcasts, including multi-camera syncing, audio cleanup, and titling.
• Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and narrative structure refinement.
• Incorporate motion graphics and branded elements into final deliverables.
• Export and optimize final assets for diverse digital and broadcast platforms.
• Maintain organized project files, timelines, and archival systems.

On-Site & Event Filming

• Manage on-site filming logistics at tournaments, athlete shoots, and brand events.
• Adapt to varied lighting, weather, and environmental conditions during location shoots.
• Support studio production workflows, including multi-camera setups and recording management.

Asset Management & Collaboration

• Organize, label, and backup footage using established asset management systems.
• Partner with the Marketing and Creative Directors to maintain visual and stylistic consistency.
• Provide technical and creative input on shot composition, transitions, and storytelling formats.

Qualifications

Required:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in videography and video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Technical expertise in cinematography, lighting, audio, and professional camera operation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage the full production pipeline independently.
• Ability to travel consistently for shoots, tournaments, and events.

Preferred:

• Experience filming in fast-paced sporting or live event environments.
• Background in editing branded commercials, documentaries, or podcasts.
• Drone filming experience or FAA certification.
• Familiarity with vertical content best practices and social media editing trends.
