Job summary

MYTALENT CREST SDN BHD is seeking an experienced video and content leader to shape campaigns across social media and digital platforms. You will own end-to-end production from concept through delivery, coordinating with creators, agencies, and internal teams.

You will guide creative direction for both short-form and long-form video, manage multiple projects, and ensure content aligns with business objectives and platform requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in video production, content creation, digital media, or creative production.
• Proven experience in leading or managing a creative/video production team.
• Proficient in the listed video tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut).
• Strong understanding of cinematography, visual composition, editing, storytelling, and content trends.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English to communicate with China clients or customers.

Job description

This role involves developing and executing overall video and content strategies across social media and digital platforms, overseeing the complete video production process from concept development to final delivery, and managing collaborations with KOLs, influencers, and external creators. You will lead creative direction for short-form and long-form video content, manage multiple video projects simultaneously, and work closely with marketing and social media teams to develop platform-specific content strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute overall video and content strategies across social media and digital platforms
• Develop monthly and quarterly content plans based on business objectives, target audiences, market trends, and platform requirements
• Lead the creative direction for short-form and long-form video content, including creative concepts, storytelling approaches, scripts, and storyboards
• Oversee the complete video production process from concept development to final delivery, including pre-production, filming, editing, motion graphics, sound design, colour grading, and post-production
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and production schedules are met
• Coordinate with videographers, video editors, designers, content creators, production crews, and external vendors
• Monitor content performance including views, watch time, engagement, audience retention, shares, and conversions
• Develop and manage video content collaborations with KOLs, influencers, creators, and external production partners
• Lead video and content production for marketing campaigns, promotional activities, events, product launches, and special projects
• Manage production timelines, resources, budgets, and external vendors

About you

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in video production, content creation, digital media, or creative production
• Proven experience in leading or managing a creative/video production team
• Proficient in video production and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Capcut or equivalent
• Strong understanding of cinematography, visual composition, editing, storytelling, and content trends
