Job summary

IPGMY (KL) SDN. BHD. is seeking a video editor in Kuala Lumpur to support shooting when required and take ownership of editing for project videos, reels, and event footage. You will ensure branding consistency and craft engaging content with captions, music, and transitions.

The ideal candidate is proficient in CapCut or Premiere Pro, understands pacing and visual flow, and welcomes feedback while meeting tight deadlines. Portfolio work is a plus, and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic experience with CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar.
• Understands basic video editing principles.
• Has a good sense of pacing, music, captions and visual flow.
• Willing to learn and able to take feedback and make improvement.
• Portfolio / previous editing work is preferred.
• Detail-oriented and responsible with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with video shooting when required.
• Mainly responsible for video editing, including project videos, short-form reels, event videos and other content.
• Ensure all videos are aligned with the company’s branding and content style.
• Add subtitles, transitions, music, effects and other basic enhancements to improve video quality and engagement.
• Handle ad hoc video editing tasks and requests when needed.
