Job summary

DECODE MODUS SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking a creative all‑rounder who can shoot, edit and design ads for social media. You will edit videos for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, add subtitles, B‑roll, motion graphics and export platform‑specific sizes.

Travel to Klang Valley shoots, polish AI‑edited cuts and deliver multiple ad variations weekly. Proficiency in CapCut or Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve is required. The role is based at Taman Connaught, Cheras with local travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years editing short videos for social media or ads.
• A portfolio with at least 3 videos you edited yourself.
• Skilled in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• Able to shoot with a camera or phone, with proper lighting and clear sound.
• Skilled in Photoshop or Canva.
• Able to travel to shoots in Klang Valley.

Responsibilities

• Edit and edit short videos for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
• Add subtitles, B-roll, motion graphics, music and export the right size for each platform.
• Make several versions of one ad with different hooks and lengths for testing.
• Polish the first cuts from our AI editing workflow into finished videos.
• Film talking-head videos at the office and travel to client sites in Klang Valley.
• Design ad visuals, thumbnails and social media graphics.
• Build landing pages and funnels in GoHighLevel from provided copy and layout, check mobile compatibility before go-live.

Decode Modus is a digital marketing company in Taman Connaught, Cheras. We produce short videos and ads for our own brand and for our clients' campaigns. We need one creative person who can shoot, edit and design, and who wants to see the work run as real ads.

Edit short videos for Facebook, Instagram and TikTok, and video ads for paid campaigns.

Add subtitles, B-roll, motion graphics, music and sound, then export the right size for each platform.

Make several versions of one ad, with different hooks and lengths, for testing.

Polish the first cuts from our AI editing workflow into finished videos.

Shooting

Film talking-head videos in our office.

Travel to client sites in the Klang Valley to film interviews, products and workplaces.

Set up the camera, lighting and microphones, and keep the footage organised.

Design

Edit and retouch images.

Design ad visuals, thumbnails and social media graphics.

Landing pages and funnels

Build landing pages, forms and thank-you pages in GoHighLevel from the copy and layout we give you.

Check each page on mobile before it goes live.

What you need

2 years or more editing short videos for social media or ads.

A portfolio with at least 3 videos you edited yourself.

Skilled in CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

Able to shoot with a camera or phone, with proper lighting and clear sound.

Skilled in Photoshop or Canva.

Able to travel to shoots in the Klang Valley.

Good to have

You have built pages in GoHighLevel, WordPress or another page builder. If not, we will train you.

After Effects or other motion graphics skills.

You already use AI tools for video or images.

The offer

RM3,000 to RM4,500 a month, based on your skills.

EPF, SOCSO and EIS.

Your videos go out every week and run as real ads, so you see what works.
