GST MALAYSIA PLT is seeking a dynamic video content creator in Kuala Lumpur. You will conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form videos tailored for TikTok and Instagram, aligning with our brand strategy.

Ideal candidates stay ahead of trends, optimize for algorithms, and collaborate on marketing projects in a fast-paced environment with training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma, Professional Certificate, or Degree in Creative Multimedia, Video Production, Film, Mass Communication, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in CapCut (Desktop) or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram.
• Stay ahead of viral trends and platform algorithms to maximize engagement.
• Proactively propose fresh ideas, hooks, and content formats to improve performance.
• Operate basic camera setup, lighting, and audio for video shoots.
• Monitor content metrics and refine style based on data and feedback.
• Collaborate on ad-hoc creative tasks, marketing projects, and team initiatives.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Editing: Conceptualize, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos tailored for TikTok and Instagram in alignment with brand strategy.

Trend & Algorithm Optimization: Stay ahead of viral trends, audio tracks, and platform algorithms to maximize view duration, engagement, and conversion.

Creative Strategy & Innovation: Proactively propose fresh ideas, hooks, and content formats to continuously elevate performance and viewer retention.

Camera Operation & Production: Handle basic camera setup, lighting, and audio capture to produce clean, professional video assets.

Performance Analysis: Monitor content performance metrics and refine video styles based on data and audience feedback.

Team Collaboration: Execute ad-hoc creative tasks, special marketing projects, and collaborative initiatives as required.

Requirements

Education: Diploma, Professional Certificate, or Degree in Creative Multimedia, Video Production, Film, Mass Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CapCut (Desktop) or Adobe Premiere Pro.

Shooting Capabilities: Hands-on experience operating cameras, smartphones, and basic studio lighting for video shoots.

Industry Advantage: Background in shooting/editing beauty or lifestyle products on TikTok is a huge plus.

Social Media Savvy: Deep understanding of current social trends, viral tropes, and internet culture.

Mindset: Target-driven, creative problem solver, fast learner, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
