Job summary

Techzu Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd is seeking a video editor capable of delivering English and Chinese content from raw footage to polished final cuts, often on tight turnarounds.

You will edit videos across short-form, promotional, explainer, and social content, create and refine material with AI tools, and add subtitles, voiceovers, and graphics in both languages.

Qualifications

• Proven video editing experience with a portfolio or showreel.
• Hands-on experience creating videos using AI tools, with work samples.
• Excellent English and Chinese writing and speaking abilities for editing and subtitling.

About the role

We produce video content for our brands and clients in English and Chinese. We’re looking for a video editor who is also skilled at creating videos with AI tools. You’ll take projects from raw footage or concept through to polished final cuts, often on tight turnarounds.

What you’ll do

Edit videos (short-form, promotional, explainer and social content) in both English and Chinese

Create and refine video content using AI video and generative tools

Add subtitles, captions, voiceovers and graphics in both languages

Turn briefs and scripts into finished videos, and revise them quickly based on feedback

Manage several projects at once and deliver on deadline

Keep our video workflow efficient, and stay current on new editing and AI video tools

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in video editing (please share your portfolio or showreel)

Hands‑on experience creating videos with AI tools, with examples of your work

Proficiency in editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut

A track record of delivering quality work in a fast‑paced environment with tight deadlines

Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, as the role involves editing, subtitling and reviewing content in both languages

Strong attention to detail, good storytelling instincts, and a willingness to take on assigned tasks

Experience producing content for social media platforms

Nice to have

Motion graphics, sound design or colour grading skills
