Responsibilities
- Assist the Principal in implementing the school curriculum, academic policies, and assessment standards.
- Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, and classroom performance.
- Support academic planning, examinations, and student assessment processes
- Oversee student discipline, behavior management, and welfare.
- Handle student conduct issues, counseling referrals, and parent meetings.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Staff Management & Development:
- Supervise teaching and non-teaching staff as assigned by the Principal.
- Support staff performance evaluations, mentoring, and professional development.
- Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and duty rosters.
- School Operations & Administration:
- Support daily school operations including timetables, substitutions, and school events.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.
- Assist in managing school resources, facilities, and operational efficiency.
- Parent & Community Engagement:
- Communicate with parents regarding academic progress, discipline, and school matters.
- Represent the school in meetings, events, and official functions when required.
- Support positive relationships between the school, parents, and the wider community.
- Leadership & Strategic Support:
- Act as Principal-in-Charge in the absence of the Principal.
- Assist in school improvement planning and policy development.
- Support the implementation of school initiatives and strategic goals.
Requirements
