Job summary

Aon in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Vice President, Sales - Human Capital to lead the Growth team, focusing on new/expanded services for Malaysia clients, in a hybrid work model.

You will implement regional sales strategies, manage key client relationships, and drive forecasting, tender responses, and branding standards across the Human Capital Solutions Malaysia business.

Qualifications

• A degree or equivalent experience in the industry is required.
• Experience in risk/insurance management relationships or ability to build relationships at this level.
• Appreciation & awareness of marketing strategy & best practices.
• Solid understanding of the insurance market.
• Proven ability in consultative selling and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Achieve new sales targets and expand services for Human Capital Solutions Malaysia.
• Implement the annual sales strategy aligned with regional/global processes.
• Produce and manage key prospect relationships to drive sales and client penetration.
• Ensure consistent sales process, pipeline management, and forecasting.
• Lead tenders, write RFP content and value propositions with branding standards.
• Participate in sales meetings and annual business planning.
• Contribute to building the country sales and marketing structure.
• Share best practices across teams and comply with regional guidelines.
• Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by your supervisor.

What The Day Will Look Like

• Responsible and accountable to achieve a ‘new/new’ sales target and expanded services to existing clients’ target for Human Capital Solutions Malaysia.
• Implement the annual sales strategy in line with the regional and global sales process, engaging with direct reports and colleagues across the business to support and drive a sales culture in Human Capital Solutions Malaysia.
• Produce, engage & manage key prospect relationships to deliver sales and work with the wider Human Capital Solutions business to drive & implement a penetration strategy for existing clients.
• Ensure the Aon sales process is applied consistently, including accurate pipeline management, monthly forecasting and all sales activity management as required by the region.
• Lead / own the sales process for key tenders including engagement with the wider Aon to leverage expertise and to write RFP content / value proposition - ensuring Aon quality & branding standards are adhered to.
• Participate in all sales meetings, including the work associated with the annual business planning process, quarterly reviews etc.
• Continue to help build the country sales and marketing structure.
• Assist to implement regional best practices in sales, campaigns & marketing procedures including monthly monitoring of positive return on investment for campaigns and marketing activities.
• Respond positively and constructively to recommendations from Compliance and Senior Management, and identify and communicate best practice across teams.
• Contribute, as required, to Human Capital Solutions Malaysia initiatives in general, providing constructive challenge and implementing as agreed.
• Performing other duties and tasks as reasonably assigned by your supervisor.
