Develop and implement the Company's funding and investment strategies in alignment with the corporate strategic plan and business objectives.
Define investment themes, portfolio allocation and deployment strategies across debt financing and equity investment programmes.
Drive innovation in funding products and financing structures to address the evolving needs of the creative industry.
Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend strategic initiatives to strengthen the Company's funding and investment ecosystem.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, governance and service excellence.
Oversee the management and performance of the Company's debt and equity investment portfolio to ensure sustainable growth, optimum fund utilisation and portfolio quality.
Lead the evaluation, structuring and execution of funding and investment transactions, including debt financing, structured financing, convertible instruments and equity investments.
Review investment proposals, credit assessments, valuation analyses and financial models to ensure sound investment decisions.
Monitor portfolio performance, financial exposure, recoverability and investment returns, implementing appropriate mitigation and optimisation strategies.
Lead restructuring, refinancing and recovery initiatives for underperforming investments where necessary.
Develop and execute business development strategies to build a sustainable pipeline of funding and investment opportunities.
Establish and maintain strategic relationships with creative entrepreneurs, investors, financial institutions, venture capital firms, Government agencies and industry stakeholders.
Identify market opportunities and develop innovative funding products and investment solutions that support the growth of Malaysia's creative industry.
Lead negotiations on funding arrangements, investment structures, shareholder agreements and financing terms to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
Lead financial, commercial, operational and legal due diligence for funding and investment opportunities.
Evaluate business models, financial viability, intellectual property value, market potential and investment risks.
Conduct financial modelling, valuation analysis, credit assessment and investment appraisal to support decision-making.
Structure transactions, negotiate key commercial terms and oversee the execution of funding and investment agreements.
Prepare comprehensive investment papers and recommendations for Management, the Investment Committee and the Board.
Ensure all funding and investment activities comply with the Company's policies, governance framework, investment mandate and applicable regulatory requirements.
Strengthen internal controls and promote prudent investment governance and risk management practices.
Monitor investment, credit, operational and market risks, recommending appropriate mitigation measures.
Prepare and present portfolio performance, investment pipeline, risk exposure and strategic reports to Management, the Investment Committee and the Board.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Government agencies, financial institutions, investors, venture capital firms and industry stakeholders.
Represent the Company in strategic negotiations, industry engagements and investment forums.
Act as the primary liaison on funding and investment matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, investment proposals and strategic reports to executive leadership, governance committees and external partners.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Funding Services team in investment evaluation, transaction execution and portfolio management.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Administration or a related discipline) and Master Degree (MBA or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
Proven experience in sourcing, evaluating, structuring and executing both debt and equity investment transactions.
Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, investment governance and post-investment value creation.
Strong knowledge of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, financial modelling, structured financing and capital markets.
Extensive experience in credit analysis, debt structuring, investment appraisal and risk management.
Sound understanding of shareholder agreements, financing documentation, investment regulations and corporate governance.
Knowledge of intellectual property valuation, creative business models and the creative economy will be an added advantage.
Demonstrated experience presenting investment recommendations to executive management, Investment Committees and Boards.
Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and sound decisionmaking capability.
Excellent negotiation, stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organisational performance.
