Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to support daily clinic operations and assist veterinarians in delivering quality animal care. You will perform reception duties, handle the pharmacy, assist with consultations, ward care, and neutering support.

You will assist veterinarians during medical treatments and surgeries, uphold the clinic's professional image, interact professionally with clients, keep the clinic clean and well-maintained, and adhere to the scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Performing assigned duties as a veterinary clinic assistant, including reception duties, pharmacy handling, consultation assistance, ward care, and neutering support.
• Assisting veterinarians during medical treatments and surgical procedures.
• Upholding and maintaining the professional image and reputation of the clinic.
• Communicating politely and professionally with clients, and escalating any complaints or issues to the SV or ASV when necessary.
• Ensuring the clinic is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Reporting to work according to the scheduled working days and hours set by the company.
• Taking proper care of all clinic equipment and supplies, and being responsible for any damage caused by negligence.
