Responsibilities

• Manage the overall health and welfare of dairy cattle.
• Conduct routine health checks, diagnosis, treatment, and disease prevention.
• Develop and monitor herd health, vaccination, and biosecurity programmes.
• Manage reproductive health, pregnancy, calving, and calf health.
• Monitor and control the use of veterinary medicines and treatment records.
• Ensure compliance with animal welfare, veterinary, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support milk quality and food safety through proper animal health management.
• Provide veterinary advice and training to farm management and employees.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, disease investigations, and veterinary services.
• Prepare herd health reports and monitor key health and productivity indicators.
• Attend to emergency veterinary cases and perform other duties assigned by Management.
