Job summary

Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad is seeking an experienced leader to head the Personal Loan team in Kuala Lumpur. You will provide strategic sales leadership for unsecured products, drive acquisition strategies, and oversee recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of the sales staff.

This role emphasizes a consultative selling approach, achieving personal loan targets, ensuring service quality and compliance, and aligning cost of acquisition with the bank’s direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the Personal Loan Team, providing strategic sales leadership for unsecured products.
• Develop acquisition strategies to market the bank’s unsecured products.
• Recruit Personal Loan sales staff, set targets, monitor performance, and train staff.
• Execute consultative selling to identify and recommend Alliance Bank products to meet customer needs.
• Source secured businesses and achieve personal loan targets and performance standards.
• Drive service excellence and maintain customer satisfaction for the channel.
• Contribute to brand awareness and service quality.
• Ensure cost of acquisition aligns with the bank’s direction.
• Ensure sales controls and compliance with set guidelines.

Job description

• Lead and monitor a team of Personal Loan Team by providing strategic sales leadership in sales management of unsecured products.
• Provide Acquisition Strategies to successfully market the Bank’ s Unsecured products
• Responsible for the Personal Loan Sales Staff recruitment, sales target setting, daily sales monitoring, product and sales skill training. Assist in regular retooling, handholding session to ensure the Personal Loan Specialist are up to the mark to provide professional services to the bank customers.
• Executes a consultative selling process which involves identifying and recommending Alliance Bank products to meet customers’ financial needs
• Actively source for secured businesses and achieve sales target/standard of performance for Personal Loan Related products.
• Drive service excellence culture and ensure customer satisfaction level for the channel.
• Contribute to Brand Awareness and Service Quality
• To ensure cost of acquisition aligned with Bank’s Direction.
• Ensure Rules of Controls and Compliances of Sales are within the set forth guidelines
