Job summary

Farben Information Technology is seeking a UI/UX Specialist to support the design and delivery of digital platform applications in a Human-Centred Design framework. You will work with the UX Lead, product managers and business stakeholders to create user-focused solutions from discovery through go-live.

You will translate requirements into wireframes, hi-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes while contributing to discovery workshops, user research and usability testing.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of UX/UI design experience for digital platforms.
• Hands-on Human-Centred Design methods and participant-focused work.
• Strong portfolio with wireframes, hi-fi designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD and related prototyping tools.
• Experience in user journeys, mapping, and requirements definition.
• Experience enabling user research, usability testing, and workshops.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine requirements, user journeys, and scenarios with stakeholders.
• Support discovery and user story mapping to prioritise features.
• Translate requirements into wireframes, hi‑fi designs, and interactive prototypes.
• Assist in planning discovery workshops and usability studies under the UX lead.
• Communicate design concepts and flows to project teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure final delivery aligns with UX/UI designs and complete UAT before go-live.

About the Role
The UI/UX Specialist will support the design and delivery of digital platform applications. You will work closely with the UX Lead, product managers, and business stakeholders within a Human-Centred Design (HCD) framework to create user-focused solutions from discovery through go-live.

Responsibilities

Work with the UX Lead, product managers, and business stakeholders under the HCD framework to define and refine requirements, user journeys, and scenarios.

Support discovery and user story mapping by helping prioritise requirements, using concepts, visuals, and journey maps to align stakeholders.

Translate requirements into wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes using design and AI tools, guided by the client's design guidelines.

Assist in planning and facilitating discovery workshops, user research, and usability testing with the UX Lead.

Support the UX Lead in communicating design concepts, flows, and prototypes to project teams and stakeholders.

Ensure final product delivery aligns with approved UX/UI designs before go-live, including UAT review.

Must-Haves

5 to 10 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital platforms or applications.

Hands-on experience applying Human-Centred Design or user-centred design methods.

Strong portfolio showing wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes.

Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Experience in user journey mapping, user story mapping, and requirements definition.

Experience supporting user research, usability testing, and discovery workshops.

Strong communication skills in English for presenting designs to stakeholders.

Available to start immediately or on short notice.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience using AI tools in the design workflow.

Background in insurance, banking, or financial services digital products.

Experience working with a design system or corporate design guidelines.

Exposure to Agile delivery and UAT processes.
