in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned User Interface Designer to design across mobile apps, web apps, admin systems, CRM platforms, and other digital products, translating requirements into intuitive interfaces and interactions. You will collaborate with Product and Development teams to ensure effective implementation of design solutions and continuously improve the product experience, while building design systems and mentoring junior designers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI or digital product design experience for web apps/admin systems.
• Strong UI/visual design with solid UX, interaction design, and IA understanding.
• Ability to break down requirements and propose effective design solutions.
• Proficient in Figma; working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience with design systems, component-based design, and guidelines.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and collaboration; Mandarin daily use.

Job description

Responsible for UI and visual design across mobile apps, H5/mobile web, web-based admin systems, CRM platforms, and other digital products, independently handling the design process from requirement understanding and interaction design to final visual solutions;

Understand product requirements and business logic, and translate complex workflows into clear, intuitive, and user-friendly interfaces and interaction solutions;

Collaborate closely with Product and Development teams to ensure effective implementation of design solutions and continuously improve the product experience;

Proactively identify issues in visual design, interaction, and user flows, and propose practical improvements;

Establish and continuously improve UI design guidelines, component libraries, and Design Systems to ensure consistency across products;

Gradually participate in design reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior designers based on team development needs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in UI or digital product design, with experience in web applications, admin systems, or other complex digital products;

Strong UI and visual design skills, with a good understanding of UX, interaction design, and information architecture;

Strong business understanding and analytical thinking, with the ability to independently break down requirements and propose effective design solutions;

Proficient in Figma, with working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and other commonly used design tools;

Experience in component-based design, Design Systems, or establishing and maintaining design guidelines;

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a good sense of ownership, responsibility, and initiative, and the ability to independently drive design work through to implementation;

Mandarin Chinese must be suitable as a daily working language, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in Chinese with Product, Development, and other team members;

Representative design work is required to demonstrate your design capabilities, design style, and relevant project experience.

Nice to Have

Experience designing complex admin systems, internet products, gaming, entertainment, or platform-based products;

Strong hand-drawing/sketching skills, with relevant work samples available;

Experience in animation, motion design, or video design;

Previous experience as a Design Lead / Acting Lead, or an interest in developing toward a design management role;

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted design tools to improve design efficiency.
