Qualifications

  • Experience in equities/securities, FX or retail bonds; HNWI sales is a plus.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is required for client communication.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all treasury income lines including structured products, retail bonds & foreign exchange.
  • Collaborate with Premier Relationship Managers to drive revenue and serve treasury needs.
  • Tailor investment products to clients based on their needs.
  • Provide timely market information and identify business opportunities.
  • Update RM and clients on equities/bonds and suggest trades.
  • Generate investment ideas aligned with portfolio and market outlook.
  • Conduct trainings and coaching for RMs on treasury products.

Treasury Specialist - Consumer Financial Services

CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES (CFS) The Group Consumer Financial Services division serves almost 3 million customers across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China. Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all treasury income line including structured products, retail bonds & foreign exchange.
  • Establish great partnership with the Premier Relationship Managers to drive revenue growth and serve client's treasury needs
  • Work closely with Premier Relationship Managers to understand clients' needs in order to tailor investment products suitable for the client
  • To provide timely market information to Premier Relationship Managers and clients on market trends which can be converted to business opportunities
  • Update Premier Relationship Manager and their clients on the underlying equities/bonds in their investments and recommend trade ideas
  • Generate sound investment ideas that fit into client's portfolio and in line with the bank market outlook and capture any opportunities via treasury solutions
  • Conduct trainings & coaching for Premier Relationship Managers to improve their competency in treasury products
  • Liaise with treasury and product team on pricing
Desired skills
  • Possesses Investor Protection Professional Certification (IPPC) by AICB
  • Possesses Securities Commissions (SC) Module 6 & 7 and Module 12 & 19a would be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in any related field from an accredited university/college with at least 2 years and above of relevant experience on equities/securities, foreign exchange or retail bonds background.
  • Applicants with financial products sales experience servicing High Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) is encouraged to apply.
  • Must be able to speak and read both English & Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Self-motivated team player who is able to work under pressure and have high attention to detail
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills through influencing and leading by example
