Job summary

Petroluxe Refinery is seeking a Treasury professional in Kuala Lumpur to manage cash flow, bank payments, and fund transfers with strict compliance. You will reconcile accounts, maintain banking relationships, and prepare capital reports for risk monitoring.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in treasury/finance, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Bank Negara Malaysia regulations. Mandarin is a plus; experience with China-based firms is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Treasury, Finance, Banking, Cash Management or related function.
• Experience in cash flow management, bank payments, fund transfers and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with banking operations, online banking and documentation.
• Strong knowledge of Bank Negara Malaysia regulations and FX controls.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with cash-flow risk awareness.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; good communication and teamwork.
• Mandarin skills are an advantage; experience with China-based firms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash and bank payments and workflow for refinery operations.
• Process fund transfers and ensure accurate recording in cash journals.
• Prepare weekly reports to monitor cash flow and risks.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and liaise with partner banks.
• Open/manage company bank accounts and maintain banking relationships.
• Support finance teams with treasury-related improvement initiatives.

Responsibility

• Handle daily cash and bank payment & receipt operations for the refinery, and execute fund transactions in compliance with the foreign exchange control policies of Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).




• Keep records in the cash journal and bank deposit journal, and ensure daily entry and monthly closing of accounts.




• Prepare weekly capital reports to monitor cash flow risks.




• Conduct bank reconciliation with relevant banks, sort out bank receipts and deliver them to the company accounting team.




• Manage the opening of bank accounts, maintain relationships with partner banks in Malaysia, and process various bank settlement and financing services as required by business operations.




• Participate in ad hoc assignments and continuous improvement initiatives related to treasury and finance operations as assigned by management.
