Job summary

Lagenda Properties is seeking a seasoned Treasury professional to lead the Group's treasury functions, cash flow forecasting, debt financing and banking relationships in Selangor.

The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on treasury management, and the ability to manage multiple financing matters while meeting tight deadlines. Prior experience in property development or construction is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting or related field with content on treasury or corporate finance.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance or banking.
• Strong hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting, treasury management and debt financing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee treasury functions for the Group including cashflow, debt structure and capital management.
• Coordinate bank facilities setup, renewals and compliance with covenants.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and financing proposals for financiers.
• Review term sheets and financing options; recommend actions for approval.
• Maintain relationships with banks, financiers, solicitors and internal stakeholders.

• Responsible for all treasury functions of the Group which include project cashflow, debts structure, bank borrowings and capital management.
• Understand funding requirements and prepare/ review cash flow forecast.
• Review financing requirement brief for sourcing of financing facilities/ debt funding.
• Coordinate and review all information and documentation required by financiers and ensure timely submission/ response.
• Perform assessment of term sheets or options of financing facilities/ debt programs and prepare recommendation paper for approval.
• Review, update and follow up in the execution of financing facilities/ debt funding related documentation and agreements, ensuring timely drawdown and renewal of facilities, among others.
• Manage bank facilities setup and termination, revision in facilities limit, collaterals for facilities, annual review by financiers.
• Monitor all banking facilities/ debt financing facilities of the Group to ensure compliance with all banking terms, covenants and deadlines.
• Leading in preparation of monthly treasury report with meaningful information and analysis, update on financing initiatives and tracking of bank covenants.
• Establish/ maintain internal control measures and treasury related policies and SOPs; and ensure compliance with regulatory and financiers’ requirements.
• Maintain professional relationships with banks, financiers, solicitors and any other internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Banking, Financial Planning or a related function.
• Strong hands‑on experience in cash flow forecasting, treasury management, debt financing and bank facilities.
• Proven experience in managing bank borrowings, financing facilities, facility drawdowns, renewals and restructuring.
• Good understanding of financing structures, term sheets, debt programmes, banking terms and financial covenants.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing cash flow forecasts, treasury reports, financing proposals and management papers.
• Familiarity with loan and financing documentation, including coordination with banks, financiers and solicitors.
• Strong understanding of bank covenant monitoring, facility compliance and financing requirements.
• Experience in dealing directly with banks, financial institutions and external stakeholders is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to evaluate financing options and provide sound recommendations.
• Good knowledge of treasury controls, policies, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple financing matters and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in the property development or construction industry will be an added advantage.
