Private Advertiser is seeking a hands-on Treasury professional based in Johor to manage cash flow, banking facilities and project funding for multiple developments. The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration across departments to ensure adequate funding for projects.
You will oversee daily cash management, 13-week/12-month forecasts, and banking relationships while monitoring cost-to-complete and collections to safeguard liquidity.
A hands-on and commercially minded Treasury professional who can effectively manage cash flow, banking facilities and project funding, and work closely with different departments to ensure the Group's projects are adequately funded.
Manage the Group's cash flow and liquidity, including daily cash position and rolling cash flow forecasts.
Prepare 13-week and 12-month cash flow forecasts for the Group and individual projects.
Manage bank accounts and Housing Development Accounts (HDA) and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
Manage the Group's banking facilities, including loans, overdrafts, revolving credit facilities and other financing arrangements.
Maintain good relationships with banks and assist in new financing, refinancing and restructuring exercises.
Monitor project cash flow and funding requirements together with the Project, QS and Contracts teams.
Monitor project cost-to-complete, progress claims, retention and variation orders.
Forecast project collections and monitor actual collections against forecast together with Sales & Marketing and Credit Control.
Monitor project sales, billing, collections and unsold inventory and assess their impact on cash flow.
Prepare regular Treasury and cash flow reports for management.
Identify potential cash flow or funding issues early and recommend appropriate actions.
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Project Finance or related areas.
Property development experience is essential added advantage.
Hands-on experience in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
Experience in managing banking facilities and financing arrangements.
Good understanding of HDA and property development project cash flow.
Experience working with multiple projects and/or entities.
Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA, CPA, CIMA or ICAEW will be an advantage.
