Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee day-to-day budgeting, cash flow, and funding needs, ensuring smooth transaction processing. This role focuses on optimizing funding, monitoring reports, and maintaining regulatory compliance in a dynamic environment.

You will negotiate with banks, monitor exchange rates, and maintain relationships with service providers while enabling efficient remittance and currency operations. Ad-hoc duties may be assigned by HOD.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the allocation and utilization of budgets to ensure operational efficiency.
• Track and manage cash flow to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Regularly review financial reports to anticipate and address funding needs.
• Handle prefunding requirements for transactions to avoid delays or operational disruptions.
• Negotiate and execute transactions with financial institutions, banks, and counterparties.
• Maintain strong relationships with service providers to optimize prefunding terms.
• Conduct regular market research to ensure competitive rates for remittance and money-changing services.
• Collaborate with service providers and platforms to secure the best exchange rates.
• Monitor and minimize exchange rate margins and transaction costs while ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Any other tasks, projects or ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time by HOD or the Company’s management.
