Job summary

AvePoint is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional IT software implementations for clients across regions. You will define project goals, scope, deliverables, schedules, and budgets while coordinating internal teams, vendors, and customers to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong communication, vendor management, and agile/waterfall experience, with willingness to travel domestically and regionally. Bachelor’s degree required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience for the Project Manager role.
• Minimum 8 years of project management experience for the Senior Project Manager role.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
• Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle, waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication with cross-functional leadership.
• PMP/PRINCE2/CSM/CSPO certifications are highly valued.
• Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, Confluence and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel domestically and regionally.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers, internal stakeholders, and vendors to initiate a project and define goals, scope, deliverables, schedule and costs.
• Assemble and direct project teams and lead execution across phases.
• Lead effective meetings, promote collaboration, and remove roadblocks in cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes.
• Establish budgets and monitor spend to stay within financial boundaries.
• Maintain open communication with clients and stakeholders and provide regular progress updates.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon quality standards and client requirements.
• Handle day-to-day project operations and ad-hoc tasks.
