Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc. is seeking an IT Project Manager (Software Delivery) to lead enterprise digital deliveries from demand intake through go-live and hypercare. You will guide distributed teams, run Agile ceremonies and manage scope, budget and risk for complex programs.

The role spans cloud and microservices with practical GenAI use. Flexibility for go-live or incidents outside business hours is required, and you will partner with senior stakeholders to keep initiatives moving.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT/software projects through full SDLC.
• Governance in delivery: scope, risk, metrics and clear communication.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall, tailoring to context.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leaders.
• Leadership across matrix teams in multiple locations and cultures.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking.
• Understanding cloud platforms and distributed systems.
• Clear business English communication, written and spoken.
• Willingness to support after-hours go-lives/incidents.
• PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master/SAFe certification would help.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery from demand intake to deployment and post-production support.
• Shape delivery plans and milestones with early scoping and estimation.
• Own scope, schedule, budget, RAID management and governance across complex initiatives.
• Plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies across Scrum, Kanban and SAFe delivery models.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Front-end, Back-end, integration and data platforms.
• Drive requirements alignment, UAT planning, release readiness and cutover execution.
• Drive status reporting, demos, stakeholder communications, escalation paths and project documentation.
• Support go-live readiness and hypercare, including after-hours incidents when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end software delivery from demand intake, discovery and scoping through deployment and post-production support
• Support early scoping and estimation when needed to shape delivery plans and milestones
• Own scope, schedule, budget, RAID management and delivery governance across complex initiatives
• Plan and facilitate Agile ceremonies across Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework delivery models
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Front-end, Back-end, integration and data platforms, including microservices-based components
• Drive requirements alignment, UAT planning, release readiness and cutover execution to support smooth go-lives
• Drive status reporting, demos, stakeholder communications, escalation paths, decisions and project documentation
• Support go-live readiness, incident response and hypercare as needed, including outside standard business hours

Requirements

• Proven experience leading IT or software projects across the full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Project delivery governance expertise, including scope control, risk management, metrics tracking and clear communication protocols
• Hands-on experience applying Agile and predictive (Waterfall) approaches with the ability to tailor delivery to context
• Stakeholder management strength, including influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution with senior leaders
• Strong leadership capability with experience guiding matrix teams across multiple locations and cultures
• Financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and cost tracking
• Solid understanding of modern technology delivery, including cloud platforms and distributed systems
• Clear communication in business English, written and spoken, for global and distributed teams
• Comfort supporting critical delivery events such as go-lives or incidents outside standard business hours when required
• Nice to have PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master or SAFe certification or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with project tools such as Jira, Confluence or Microsoft Project
• Practical experience using GenAI in delivery workflows or SDLC practices
