Job summary

Discova is seeking a Product Designer to design and manage travel products from concept through launch and operation in Kuala Lumpur. You will work with sales, marketing, contracting and product teams to turn customer insights into market-ready experiences that drive growth.

The role requires at least five years in product development, strong travel industry knowledge, fluent English, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in product development.
• Strong knowledge of the travel industry and destination products.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Experience traveling extensively within relevant destinations or living in destination markets is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative travel experiences, day tours, and multi-day itineraries that align with brand standards and customer needs.
• Manage the product lifecycle from research and development through to launch and ongoing optimization.
• Monitor market trends, customer segments, and portfolio performance to identify opportunities and product gaps.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, business development, and contracting teams to maximize product effectiveness and business growth.
• Support high-value proposals, agent tenders, and training initiatives by showcasing the strength of the product portfolio.
• Ensure product information, pricing, content, images, and system data are accurate, up to date, and market-ready.
