Job summary

RHB Banking Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Trainee Dealer, Treasury Solutions to support FX and derivatives transaction execution and client servicing. You will work closely with Sales, Operations and Treasury teams to help ensure smooth deal processing and timely resolution of operational issues.

The role offers hands-on exposure to FX and derivatives products in a dynamic banking environment and opportunities to develop skills in transaction lifecycle management and client solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in FX, derivatives, treasury, or banking operations is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of FX and derivatives and their transaction processes.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Good organisational and time-management skills to handle multiple transactions.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Support the desk in managing and coordinating daily FX and derivatives transactions.
• Understand and manage the desk’s daily operational requirements to ensure smooth execution of business activities.
• Monitor FX and derivatives deals and coordinate with relevant internal teams to resolve operational issues promptly.
• Provide day-to-day servicing and support for FX and derivatives transactions throughout the trade lifecycle.
• Assist the sales team in preparing and developing FX and derivatives proposals for clients.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations, Treasury and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Support the team in maintaining a high standard of operational accuracy, client service and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

Join our team as a Trainee Dealer, Treasury Solutions professional, supporting the day-to-day execution and servicing of FX and derivatives transactions. You will work closely with the sales desk and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth deal execution, timely resolution of operational matters and effective client servicing.
