Frencken Mechatronics Malaysia offers an internship opportunity to support daily manufacturing and production activities within the CEM team. You will assist in tracking output, efficiency, downtime, and production issues, while collecting data and preparing routine reports.
We welcome students pursuing an engineering diploma or degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, or Industrial).

Assist the CEM team in daily manufacturing and production activities. Support monitoring of production output, efficiency, downtime, and production issues. Assist in collecting and analyzing production data and preparing daily, weekly, or monthly reports. Support engineers in maintaining work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing records. Assist in identifying production abnormalities and following up with the relevant departments. Support quality-related activities, including data collection, inspection records, and non-conformance follow-up. Participate in continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and process improvement projects. Assist with NPI and process improvement activities where required. Support preparation of presentations, reports, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Perform other duties and projects assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related disciplines. Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes. Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement will be an advantage. Knowledge of ERP/MRP or manufacturing systems will be an added advantage. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Internship duration: Minimum 3–6 months, subject to university requirements and business needs.
