Job summary

CRBC KUCHING ART BLUELINE 2 is seeking a Traffic Controller to manage traffic flow during road construction, ensuring safety along the Right of Way. You will inspect equipment, wear PPE, and perform patrols to prevent hazards.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, correcting issues promptly, assisting during accidents, and following company procedures under supervisor guidance.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Responsible, alert, and safety-conscious.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Prior experience in traffic control or construction safety is an advantage.

• Control and manage traffic flow while construction vehicles or machinery are crossing the road.
• Ensure traffic control equipment such as flags, whistles, baton torches, and signage are in good condition before use.
• Maintain and safeguard all traffic safety equipment.
• Take immediate corrective action if traffic equipment is damaged, displaced, or improperly arranged.
• Wear appropriate safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) while on duty.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections of installed traffic control equipment along construction road areas.
• Provide assistance during accidents or emergencies involving vehicles within the Right of Way (R.O.W.) area.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with company procedures and instructions given by supervisors.
