Job summary

Lenog Sdn Bhd in Labuan, Malaysia, is seeking a mid-level Procurement professional to support trading operations. The role covers sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, issuing Purchase Orders, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely, cost-effective purchasing.

You will work closely with suppliers to secure favorable terms, interpret technical datasheets, and manage logistics estimates to maintain smooth procurement processes for oil and gas industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings.
• Basic product and material knowledge in oil and gas industry.
• Able to handle urgent sourcing enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue RFQs to suppliers based on client requirements and specifications.
• Follow up with suppliers for quotations submission and clarifications.
• Ensure all technical documents are submitted with quotations.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers to get priority treatment.
• Estimate logistics costs accurately.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to optimize cost and value.
• Create and issue Purchase Orders in alignment with quotations, delivery schedules, and approvals.
• Track delivery schedule and update Purchase Orders status.

Job Overview

Support procurement activities for trading operations, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
