Job summary

Job Overview

Support procurement activities for trading operations, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, and coordinating deliveries to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Responsibilities

• 1. Prepare and issue RFQs to supplier based on client’s requirements and specifications.
• 2. To follow up with supplier for quotations submission and clarifications.
• 3. To ensure all technical documents such as technical datasheet (if applicable) is submited along with quotations.
• 4. To develop and maintain good relationship with suppliers to get priority treatment such as faster quotesand urgent prioritize delivery.
• 5. To estimate logistics costs accurately.
• 6. To negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to optimize cost and value.
• 7. To create and issue Purchase Orders in alignment with quotations, delivery schedules, and internal approval processes.
• 8. To track delivery schedule and update Purchase Orders status.

Requirements / Qualifications

• 1. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience, preferably in oil & gas,manufacturing, or engineering sectors.
• 2. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, datasheets, and drawings related to equipment, parts,or materials.
• 3. Basic product and material knowledge in oil and gas industry.
• 4. Able to handle urgent sourcing enquiry.
