Job summary

NS BlueScope in Shah Alam, Malaysia seeks a seasoned channel operations professional to drive governance, incentive programs and in-market discipline across BSAD and Hardware Dealers.

You will lead trade visits, manage POSM deployment, support outlet expansion and ensure accurate data reporting while upholding safety and ethical standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years in channel ops or related fields, with preference for retail or industrial B2B experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in channel operations or related roles.
• Experience with retail or B2B industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to govern brand guidelines and incentive programs.

Responsibilities

• Govern dealer agreements, branding guidelines, incentives and reporting.
• Execute and report on channel incentive programs.
• Conduct regular trade visits to monitor in‑market execution and POSM.
• Coordinate new outlet set-up and launches for HWD.
• Ensure POSM is deployed and stock is available across the channel.
• Maintain accurate channel data, reports and partner records.
• Uphold safety, ethics and compliance in all channel interactions.

You are accountable for ensuring consistent channel execution excellence, governance and in‑market discipline across the BlueScope channel network, with primary focus on BlueScope Authorized Dealers (BSAD) and Hardware Dealers.

What You'll Do

• Channel Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to dealer agreements, branding guidelines, incentive mechanics and reporting requirements.
• Incentive Programme Execution & Administration (Rebate Management): Own the execution, coordination and reporting of channel incentive programs.
• Trade Visit Excellence & Execution Monitoring: Conduct structured and regular trade visits across BSAD and Hardware Dealers to monitor in‑market execution, POSM placement, product visibility, and compliance with BlueScope brand guidelines.
• Outlet & Network Expansion Support (HWD): Coordinate new outlet set-up and launch activities.
• POSM & In-Market Execution Quality (Deployment and Availability of Stock): Ensure centrally developed POSM is available, correctly implemented and maintained to standard across the channel.
• Channel Reporting & Data Discipline: Maintain accurate and timely channel data, reports and partner records to support incentive governance, performance tracking and management review.
• Safety, Ethics & Compliance: Ensure adherence to BlueScope’s Code of Conduct, safety standards and compliance requirements in all channel interactions.

What You Need To Succeed

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other relevant disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience in channel operations, trade execution, merchandising or related roles.
• Experienced in retail execution or B2B industrial environments are preferable.
