Job summary

GRAND VENTURE TECHNOLOGY (PENANG) SDN. BHD. seeks a results-driven Maintenance Manager in Penang to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of production assets.

You will analyze CNC performance, MTBF, MTTR and OEE, and lead root cause investigations to deliver long-term reliability improvements. You will develop data-driven maintenance plans, optimize spare parts inventory, and coach the maintenance team in lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in maintenance management overseeing complex operations.
• Solid understanding of CNC technologies, maintenance practices and machine tool performance.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of assets to maximize uptime.
• Analyze MTBF, MTTR, and OEE to identify performance gaps and improvements.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term reliability solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce downtime and increase throughput.
• Develop data-driven maintenance plans and optimize spare parts inventory.
• Train and lead the maintenance team in lean practices.
• Provide regular reports and dashboards to management with progress on actions.
