We are seeking an experienced Town Planner to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on planning matters to both public and private sector clients. This includes application for planning permission, conducting research, preparing reports, and working closely with other professionals in related fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible to work collaboratively in application for planning permission
• Conduct research and analysis on planning policies, guidelines, and regulations
• Prepare and present reports on planning matters to clients and stakeholders
• Develop and implement planning strategies and policies
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals
• Able to work independently with focus on task completion and deadlines
• Respond to inquiries and provide advice to clients on planning matters
• Prepare, review and assess planning applications
• Keep up-to-date with relevant legislation and policy changes

Qualifications

• A degree in town planning or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in town planning
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and policies in Malaysia
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficiency in the use of relevant planning software and tools such as GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office and Photoshop
